From what Ive understood I'll be writing a simple script which sends amail to root@localhost and place it in the rc6.d run level directory
and then follow your instructions..Please correct me if Im wrong
If me, I would put the script in /etc/rc.d/init.d
rcX.d/ links are back to script.
See running code in /etc/rc.d/init.d
