Thanks for the tip, but, I am sorry, looks like these USB enclosures
all have the hard drives inside, and I would need to use a
screwdriver to take them apart every time when I need to swap a
drive.
That is not what I am looking for, I am looking for something where I
can push in/pull out the IDE drive without disassembling the
enclosure or using a screwdriver.
If that is not the case, and there are drives listed there that have
IDE hard drives readily accessible, I apologize.
There are tons of 5-1/4" external USB drive bays.
There are tons of "drawer" systems that allow you to easily
swap 3.5" IDE drives in a 5-1/4" drive bay.
If you've got two minutes and know how to run a screwdrier, you
can put a drawer into a 5-1/4" USB drive enclosure.
However, none of the drawer systems I know about are
hot-swappable at the IDE interface.
