A bit old and for sure by a magazine well known for their IT
competence? Looks like you failed as troll starting some flame
war completely.

I scanned the article. It smacks of 'sour grapes' to me. Looky here, my OS
is vastly superior in design and execution but they're getting all the use
and press. Boo hoo hoo.

Yeah, but can't you s/linux/windows/g and s/Theo de Raadt/linux zealots/g
and still have a pretty accurate article? So maybe OpenBSD users are
laughing at me the same way I laugh at Windows users. :)

I'm not saying de Raadt is correct, just that we should be careful how
we throw stones.

I did like Linus' very short quote: de Raadt is ''difficult''. :)

Perhaps, recently gave a little money to OpenBSD project after
reading they'd have some financial problems. Got a pretty
reasonable mail from Theo back.

Of course he and Linus do put some effort into marketing, with
mixed success, but both do seem to really care about "their" OS
in order to get some publicity. ;-)

Clueless press droids like the author of the above URL will pick
up things and carry them out, at least they have to write
something to make some money. From then it's just a matter of
minutes until the next Outcrap expert, who might even be the
author himself, will simply post sad URL to usenet to enhance
traffic.
