I especially like the last two paragraphs.... Would that PhD be happier if the code was undocumented? WTF is the purpose of the documentation, anyway, if not to point out possible problems, and annotate the code so that future developers don't waste time looking for possible errors?

I guess he didn't look at the code much, if that's his reason to switch....

It's the whole cathedral and the bazaar thing.... Guess he didn't read that article either....
