Brand new ot Linux

I had put Linux on a 8.5 MB partition. I like it very much. Today I decided to devote the remainder of the drive to my new OS. However, even though the partition is set as a Linux native, it can not be found under Konqueror. I am totally new to Linux, had used MS since 1994. The learning curve is a little sharp so I have probably made a mistake somewhere.
