By "web based software" do you mean browsers and servers or do you mean web
pages with javascript applets? If the latter then yes, system programming
is vastly different and more difficult.

i mean softwares like VIAWEB created by Paul Graham (please see
http://paulgraham.com/road.html.). i do not mean of
web-development/designing or becoming a webmaster. i hate these things.
these fields are not creative like programming .

actually i was just *inspired* from that article. well inspired &
