CLUNK__The HD is clunked out. (The 1st HD_)
I have to go and get One. I get an older HD not larger than 40 Gb.
My box is an olde P-III 455 Mhz. the bios probobly have limitations
on HD size. Any way this will take me a few days.

I have 80GB + 120GB in a pIII 450MHz box, until recently it was a
pII ;) Intel 440BX chipset does larger HDD.

Grant.

Well It looks like My linux box is somewhat outdated

I took an older "Matrox 40 gb HD" out of My Windows box.
(actually it's been acting up lately, I think The problem is the
controller)

I put it in my Linux Box as the Primary Master but I can't get the
Bios to recognize it.
The mother board is an "Asus CUSL2 The RAM limitation is 512 mb
The Bios is an AWARD (P2-99) it recognized the 10gb HDs
but now the 40gb.

I thought about buying another 40gb HD, but now I am at a loss
as to what is the best solution. Maybe get a better Motherboard.

Charles
