swap issue

hi ppl,

im running a few Fedora Core 4 with kernel 2.6.16.18 and . all the
n2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp and all the nodes are unable to mount swap at
startup. Anyway i can do it just by running
swapon -a
that means (as i see) that the entry at fstab is working...
