In cases like these, sneakerware is the most efficient:
1 Plug in USB stick on machine 1
2 Copy files to USB stick
3 Unplug USB stick
4 Transport to machine 2 using SSTP [1]
5 Plug in USB stick on machine 2
6 Copy files from USB stick
