Thanks for the URL to the linux document project.
However I was after something that would take me 30 seconds not really some
guide that rambles on and on and has you hacking files left right centre.
Most of the howto are pretty much straight forward and don't
require more then 5-10 minutes to get things working, YMMV. But
this seems asked to much these days.
Turns out what I was looking for was:
Select System Settings->Sharing (Internet & Network section).
Select File Sharing and 'add a folder', use the UI to quickly configure.
Great and in case of the first problem you'll be exactly as
clueless as now, clicking onto some colorful icon. But I guess
this is all you want. ;-)
