With Opera I can set its browser identification to Opera,

perfectly well if I use Opera and let Opera identify itself as
IE. With Opera I can change the browser identification in a
running browser.
I've heard that Firefox can do the same thing, but I have no clue
as to how to get that behavior. It doesn't seem to be in any
menu at which I've looked. I looked at the documentation on the
Firefox web pages, and in the FAQ, but I didn't find anything
that helped me. How can I do this?
Thanks...
Kevin, I'm using Seamonkey which is the continuation of the Mozilla Suite, which is where Firefox and Thunderbird branched from.
I think you can do what you want by, in your FF enter about:config, then, in the filter window, enter useragent and one of the functions shown should be general.useragent.extra.seamonkey. (Of course, now that I re-read this, you will probably have .firefox) Change its value to what you want. Mine is currently set to Mozilla 1.7
If you have any further questions on FF, could be worth subscribing to news.mozilla.org on Port 119 and check out mozilla.support.firefox. Plenty of people there that know what their doing.
