FC 5 Trashed my Yum

This repositoy Dries said to add some lines to yum.conf to use it so I
copy pasted them in yum.conf and now yum install does nothing and kyum
won't even open.

I removed the lines but no joy. How can I fix this or can someone
attach there yum.conf. Does this have to be edited in console mode or
something>

There was no warning to that effect
