qemu cannot boot from iso

Hi

I downloaded a damn small linux iso onto my windows box
Created an image called dsl.img ( raw 1gig)
and then ran this command :

qemu.exe -L "\Program Files\Qemu\bios" -m 128
-hda "C:\Program Files\Qemu\dsl.img" -cdrom "c:\dsl-3.0.1.iso"
-boot d -enable-audio -localtime

The error I get is:

CDROM boot failure: 0005
Boot from CD-Rom Failed
FATAL Could not read the boot disk

my ata0 master is the 1gig image hard disk
my ata1 master is the Qemu CD-ROM

This used to work when I tried the same thing with knoppix.iso

Any ideas?
