updating suse 10 via internet and yast: possible?

Hello all. One of our administrators installed Suse 10 on a machine in
my lah,
I think from the free ISO version from opensuse. Previously I've bought
and installed
9.3 on another machine and know you can select lots of extra software
to install.
He must not have because I'm missing lots of stuff including emacs and
some
Gnome utilities I like.
Can I use YAST to do essentially the same thing over the net? Let me
select packages
or software I want, and go get it from somewhere (where?), and then
install it,
just as if I were intalling from the downloaded boot CD image from Suse
from opensuse, or from purchased CDs?
Or do I need to do a completely new installation to have the
opportunity to install all of the missing software?
Thanks very much in advance for any assistance...
Jim
