I need help finding a SCSI card that will work with Redhat 3 update 5
Kernel 2.4.21-40.EL. I need a simple card that will allow me to hook up
a few old tape drives. It needs to have the standard 68 pin external
connector, not the new VHD 68 pin. I have an old Adaptec 2940W, but it
won't work. Won't fit in the machine. I guess I need the more
up-to-date pci cards.
It would help to know what type of slots the machine has and why
the card wouldn't fit. Are they PCIe? Alternatively, what
Dell model are we talking about?
