I still get:
[..]ivtv-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2157_F 100% |=========================| 9.4 kB
Error: Missing Dependency: libmp4ff.so.0 is needed by package mythmusic
Listing the rpm gives:[..]
rpm -q --list -p faad2-2.0-8.fc5.i386.rpm
So it appears that the dependency has been met.
Is it installed? Try a manual install and see if this helps:
yum localinstall /path/to/faad2-2.0-8.fc5.i386.rpm
Or with rpm.
Yes it is installed, when I try to install it manually it tells me it is
already installed.
I removed mythtvmusic and I could do a yum update,
Good idea.
but now when I try to install mythtv-suite it fails with mythmusic needing:
Error: Missing Dependency: libmp4ff.so.0 is needed by package mythmusic
I'd erase the rpm and try reinstalling, somehow rpm seems
confused about the package. If this doesn't help I'd follow the
usual steps to recover the rpmdb:
# rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
# rpm -vv --rebuilddb
# rpm -qa
