hi all,Look in the mainboard manual or print layout for a jumper related to cmos reset. Unhook power cord, remove battery, move jumper to reset position and wait a minute or so (according to manual). Put it back, reboot and presto.
i inadvertently clicked on suspend instead of restart and my machine won't wake up any more ... i tried disconnecting it from the power completely even taking out battery for a few minutes and it didn't help. is ther any trick that can help me get going ...
thanks.
Probably your BIOS has settings for wake-up events. These can include keyb (sometimes specific key or even password), mouse movement, Wake-on-Lan, modem activity, and power/reset button etc.
