Hi all
am looking for a distribution which is easy to set up for duial booting
with XP
on seperate drives
I'll recommend Mandriva Linux for a harddrive install.
Want to see some install screenshots.

Mandriva Download Mirror list
http://www.mandriva.com/en/downloads/mirrors/2006
Unfortunately Mandriva seems to trying very hard to hide all of their
mirrors. Thus the above gives a "Page not found" from Mandriva.
The only mirrors they now seem to publish are those for MandrivaOne.
http://www.mandriva.com/en/downloads/mandrivaone
However, if you go to the parent directory, there are the downloads for
Mandriva 2006 Free.
Weird, or scary, I am not sure which.
Mind you if you want to set up your own mirror, they give full instructions
on how to do that.

Hunt around on any mirror for somethining like
/pub/linux/distributions/mandrivalinux/official/iso/2006.0/i586
Or just go to the parent directory of the MandrivaOne download for the
isos.
which will be about 2 clicks on
Up to higher level directory
then you navigate to the iso directory for something like
Mandriva-Linux-Free-2006-CD.i586.md5.asc 1 KB 11/13/2005 12:00:00 AM
Mandriva-Linux-Free-2006-CD.i586.sha1.asc 1 KB 11/13/2005 12:00:00 AM
Mandriva-Linux-Free-2006-CD1.i586.iso 712774 KB 11/13/2005 12:00:00 AM
Mandriva-Linux-Free-2006-CD2.i586.iso 712540 KB 11/13/2005 12:00:00 AM
Mandriva-Linux-Free-2006-CD3.i586.iso 712882 KB 11/13/2005 12:00:00 AM
or get dvd files.
You need to verify the sha1 or md5 checksum before burning to verify
you have a good download.
ftp://ftp.gnupg.org/gcrypt/binary/sha1sum.exe
http://etree.org/md5com.html ! dos md5sum.exe
