But bash is, in a way, Linux. Ok, so it's really not. But it is definitely is
related to Linux and it doesn't fit well into other groups. ;-)

His question would if at all likely better suited in
comp.unix.shell, but he should clearly state using cygwin.

I'll try comp.unix.shell next time, I guess. But as I am subscribed to this
group as a lurker and having successfully gotten away with it once, I'm inclined
to try my chances again next time. I love to flirt with flames - makes life /so/
much more interesting! JK!!!!
