Yeah, hmmm UPS's! Most of these servers are
on customers sites and they have a habit of pressing the wrong buttons
etc or a power failure overnight will outlast the UPS.
Nothing wil prevent malicious problems such as "pressing the wrong buttons",
but one should select a UPS that uses a serial port connection to the server
and can initiate an ordely shutdown when UPS capacity reaches a critically
low threshold.
