Column Major Virtual Desktop?

I'm using Workspace Switcher 2.14.0 which is row major, but I would
prefer a virtual desktop that is column major. Does such a VD exist?

The reason I want column major is due to the way I organize my desktop.
I have "headings" setup on row 0 with stuff grouped below. If I add a
column, that throws everything off... With Workspace Switcher 2.14.0,
if I add a column, all desktops that were neatly grouped below row 0
are now shifted one to the left.
