For each physical SCSI device, there can be no more than 15
partitions defined under Linux.
Water is wet. What does that have to do with the statement "Nothing,
because only 15 subdevices are supported."? A SCSI subdevice *is* a
physical SCSI device.
That limit has existed for many years,
K3wl. That doesn't make subdevice synonymous with partition.
Don't confuse SCSI with IDE devices.
Not likely, because there are no subdevices in IDE.
