Are you sure you were holding a cellphone and not a cosmic raygun? ;-)
Sounds like that thing was very poorly shielded then. ;-)

yes sure, but forget
just as an information, a study which lasted i think 10 yrs by the ieee
has been released in late 2004. I havn't seen it yet. but I have heard
some info about that, that microwaves were proven to cause leucemia and
cancers.

You shouldn't be so paranoid...

forget about paranoia!
i'm talking about a study that has been released by competent engineers
and researchers.
would you mean that they are all wasting their time?
you should really tell them because they seem to not to have the same
point of view as you.
PS: keep ready all your clews and figures if any

Okay, I'll tell you what. You bring *your* scientists to corroborate what
*you* say, and I'll bring *mine,* okay? ;-)

Belgium may be nothing much on the map, but we do happen to have
Universities here, and they do a lot of research - without being
manipulated or ordered around by the government.

If what they say is untrue, then what I am saying is untrue as well.

The amount of radiation we send out into the atmosphere and even beyond

what do you mean??
the radiation we send towards the sky?

Not just towards the sky. The radiation that surrounds us 24/7.

what has it to do with the subject here?

"The subject" - as someone else has already pointed out - is what the
subject line to this thread says, and we are already way off-topic now.

But okay, I'll humor you... I said what I said because I just want you to
stop and wonder whether all the radiation inside the atmosphere - whether
it's man-made or natural - is so healthy, and whether you should really be
so paranoid about a single cellphone where the majority of cellphones are
pretty innocent.

I'm talking about the amount of radiation that will go into your brain
when you will hold a cellphone against your ear.

As you have already said yourself, the heat you have experienced could have
come from a transistor.

what the hell has to do with us the amount of radiation we send out?
really if you want to really know some info about radiations just
search for the power of cells that communicate directly to the
sattelites and the sattelites power themselves then just compare them
to that of a cellphone and also your knowledge.

And those satellite transmissions are vastly more powerful than those of a
cellphone. And yet, they're not cooking our brains. Sunlight on the other
hand does cause cancer...

.... Just so you'd be able to set your priorities straight... <grin>

Besides, you're likely to have a better chance at developing cancer from
inhaling the exhaust gases of cars and trucks

true but does it have to do with the main subject, really?????

Nothing at all. The main subject was breaking the wordwrap in /KMail./

actually i'm wondering if you have ever studied anything about
electromagnetics? or other physical sciences?

Actually, I have, yes. Physics in general, that is.
