Then why are you asking a non-Linux question in a Linux group?
This is the question. However, iirc there were lately people even
insisting on cygwin questions being of topic in colm. So my
expectations are currently quite low and even this is quite often
to far...
Try a Mac newsgroup, or comp.unix.shell if you think it's not
platform-specific.
Or some Mailing list? People just don't seem to be aware anymore
to check where to get answers but insist on answers even if they
are obviously OT. If this wouldn't be enough they still find
others supporting their theory...
I don't know how sudo works on mac (put in some animal?) and I
have no way of testing something out in 3 seconds as I don't have
a mac.
