Hi Group, I was given a HP Model 380 Printer Scanner Copier which uses
LPT1.

The copier works great and the printer works in Black and White only.
Xsane attempts to find the scanner but evidently the HP380 is not in the
data base. I have not found an xsane plug in on the net.

Any recommendations?

Did you install the
hplip-hpijs-0.9.7-19
hplip-0.9.7-19

drivers? Set the HP380 to color its capable.
