Ack, there is no point in running this ancient version, FC 5 is
the recent version with FC 6 soon available.

He could try an upgrade installation, dunno if this works from FC
2 -> FC 5, but why not just try it out? Performing a full backup
before starting as a matter of course!

even though the base installation is FC2, not much remains -- all these
have been updated: gcc, glibc, kernel, gnome, X, most of the system
tools etc.. so as you can see not much is left apart from the
initscripts.

so i kindly ask again, any docs to migrate to udev for FC2?
