All Turtle Beach hardware is locked at 48KHz.
This won't change, so your MP3 software (or audio driver) will need to resample everything that's not at 48KHz or one of its divisors.
Sadly, that includes just about every bit of music out there, since everything that originally came off a CD is 44.1KHz.
Only DAT and DVD music can be 48KHz.
