Most APCs are supported, and, as someone else already posted, using
upstools you can make a lot of non-APC type working too.

The Belkin models I've used over the past five or so years provide their
own linux tools in a directory on the included CD (under Unix/LINUX). It
is *binary* only (no source AFAICT), but it's always worked for me.

Caveats: the Belkin "Home Office" models (500VA) have quite poor battery
life IME--not recommended. The F6C800UNV models (800VA) have much better
battery life, but they aren't replaceable, and they do NOT tolerate heat
well at all. The F6C800UNV offers both serial and USB interface, but USB
on Belkins has never worked at all for me (SuSE mainly), including their
more recent USB-only models.

In short: as for Belkin/Linux, F6C800UNV/tty only for me. HTH; YMMV...
