Re: how to find the proxy setting in linux
In comp.os.linux.misc akhila <akhila.ragunadhan@xxxxxxxxx>:
Hi,
I want to find the proxy setting of Internet in a linux machine. I
could do that by querying registry in Windows. What is the way to find
the proxy settings in a linux machine
echo $http_proxy
Though there is no guarantee, one or another app might use their
own settings and disregard the environment variable "$http_proxy"
even if set.
Good luck
