Module-assistant problems with kernel 2.6.18.1

Hi everyone,
I've compiled and launched kernel 2.6.18.1 on my box with Ubuntu Dapper
Drake. As I used to do with my previous kernels (downloaded from
Ubuntu's repos) I tried to build fglrx module using module-assistant.
This time however m-a failed to do its duty:
# m-a prepare
Getting source for kernel version: 2.6.18.1
apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.18.1
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Can't find package linux-headers-2.6.18.1
I've skimmed m-a's man and accordingly to author's suggestion I've
added the path to my kernel's source.
# m-a prepare -k /usr/src/linux-2.6.18.1
Bad kernel version specification at /usr/bin/m-a line 549.
I've googled it, but I haven't found anything related to this problem.
Does anyone know what might be going on? My module-assistant version is
0.10.2.
Kind regards,
Jano
