You just did, and multiposting is much more annoying than
cross-posting. With cross-posting you can easily set follow-ups to
a single principle newsgroup, which avoids all the annoyance.
Annoyance if you choose to be annoyed.
Seeing the same message over and over again because you subscribe to
several newsgroups is an annoyance that would have been easily avoided
by crossposting the message. Posting the same message to multiple
groups manages to combine both more work for the poster and more
work for the readers.
This is not a matter of debate at all, really. I find it surprising
that you have managed to only talk to people who "don't like
crosspost".
Please don't misunderstand, I'm not debating you, merely commenting
on your comments. Yes, I have only had comments from people about
cross-posting, not comments about multiple, duplicate posts in
17 years of posting to usenet news.
