1) that's going to be a huge undertaking and the IT staff is probably not
going to be prepared. I'd recommend looking at that down the road -
instead of the training they'll need for Vista, training for Linux instead
- then they'd be ready to deploy.

2) start with scrapping MS Office in favor of OO - it's a direct
replacement.
