The first question of course is: what is the native resolution
of the LCD? LCD's should always be driven at their native resolution.
They will also have a speced refresh rate that should be used.
If the native resolution is 1600x1200 then clearly you need
to download correct drivers for your graphics card. Note that
the issue is your graphics card, not the monitor itself.
Or possibly if you are talking about two different machines, perhaps
the graphics card in your Windows machine can't handle the resolution.
In which case you would need a better card.
