Hi,
anybody succeed making run belkin's usb bluetooth dongle ? (my model is
F8T012v, but I suppose is the same for all models)
In my case it doesn't work.
I plugged into my laptop and I obtain when using dmesg:
Bluetooth: Core ver 2.7
NET: Registered protocol family 31
Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: HCI USB driver ver 2.8
usbcore: registered new driver hci_usb
ohci_hcd 0000:00:03.0: wakeup
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2
Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.7
Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: HIDP (Human Interface Emulation) ver 1.1
Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.5
Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
Bluetooth: HIDP (Human Interface Emulation) ver 1.1
so it seems is detected.
No, it does not necessary means that it detected.
Run 'lsusb' and see what comes up.
Also, this looks likes a comparatively old kernel.
