Re: acrobat 7.0.9 linux tar.gz question

Hi,
I installed acrobat 7.0.9 linux tar.gz on slackware 10.2 (with updates)
yesterday; however, the acrobat about box still lists the version as
7.0.8 and the date as 5/22/2006.
1) I tried removing my .adobe directory, but that didn't correct the
problem.
2) The file Reader/AcroVersion contains 7.0.9.
3) Running "bin/acroread -version" yields 7.0.9.
4) I downloaded another copy of the acrobat 7.0.9 linux tar.gz file and
diff shows it to be the same as the tar.gz I used to perform my install.
Has anyone else seen this?
Yup. They just forgot to update the "About" dialog. No biggie.
