Why exactly are versions turning over so quickly, this is becoming a
real nuisance and I really do feel that instead of letting versions
mature and hang around for a while, it is becoming more a race to
keep abreast, a race which I have no desire to participate in given
a stable box that does everything I require and then some as far as
software and support for every conceivable bit of hardware.
Ubuntu 6.06 guarantees 3 year support. I won't use 6.10, because
it is limited to 1 year.
