I think you'd have to write some code in order to do that. The ?dm code
can display images in a variety of formats, but not MPEGs. kdm can do a
slide show, but not movies. Or... hmm, kdm has the Startup= line in
$KDEDIRS/share/config/kdm/kdmrc , they say that gets run after logging
in and before starting a user session. So you could write a script that
checks $USER and does "mplayer -geometry XxY
/usr/share/movies/$USER.avi" or something. I think gdm might have an
option to do something like that somewhere as well. HTH,
