Couldn't find package alien in ubuntu installation.

Hi,

As I am new to ubuntu I am having some small startup problems. I want
to install Openoffice 2.1.0 on my computer and was told that I need to
alien the rpm's in order to do so. But it seems alien is not installed
on my system. When trying to install it with sudo apt-get install
alien, I get the error message: Building dependency tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package alien
Could anyone please help me?? Where can I find this package??
