Cut and paste exactly what you typed and what you got.
If you really typed "$./filename", don't do that.
(Leave off the dollar sign.)
Also make sure to use tab completion when typing the
filename to make sure you have the filename right.
I am using Ledora 5 linux.
filename means some executable.
$>./filename
bash: ./filename: cannot execute binary file
Show the output of "ls -l filename". Also of "file filename".
