Probably, Fedora will boot as is with either motherboard. If you are
worried about it, install a kernel specifically for Intel in advance of
the change, and reference the new kernel as a choice on the boot menu.

Caveat: I don't run XP.
For windows you may need to follow the instructions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824125

This doesn't say that you will need to call and ask (beg for) permission,
but you probably will.
