Why is it telling me that I cannot check the printer status? Also, I do
know that it is not printing unless I login to the printerhost and print
from there. Both machines have firewalls but the port 631:upd are open.
Check your cupsd.conf, probably in /etc/cups/
See man cupsd for info on how to set the configuration options.
