Daylight savings time changes in US, and older RH releases

I have some older RedHat releases (6..2, 7.1, 9.0) on PC style
platforms. Are there any posted patches, or manual descriptions, of
how to update the timezone files of these "older" versions? All I see
at first look is for the later RH releases (Enterprise 3 and 4 for
example).

For the short term, I will just use timeconfig to set the timezone to
a different offset for a few weeks, but would like a more "fix it once
and forget it" type solution for the long term.
