oh, ok. get a new dvd-ram drive. well, I'll look into it. I've got too
much spare change sitting around here, time I feed the economy.
but you are right, if I get this working, it's a real dream! for one
thing, it would make dvd-authoring so easy.
on the other hand, can I expect most devices, at least 'recent' ones,
will play dvd-ram disks?
