Now I have new computer with Window XP. I attached this IBM drive as
slave drive (D drive) but my computer did not recognize this. For
experiment I attached another Western Digital Drive and my computer
recognized that as D Drive. Please help/guide me in recovering my
data.
Best regards.

When my dual boot laptop had a drive going bad, I was able to save almost all of the data from both the Suse and the Windows partition using a linux live CD called g4l. (That is gee four ell). It is apparently a takeoff on another linux live CD called g4u.
Both require that you have a network connection and a target machine that you can ftp to with sufficient free space for your whole partition. After you copy it off, you then install a new drive and use the utility to ftp the data back onto the new drive.
Good luck
