Mounted cdrom permissions

Hi:

I've got a cdrom disc which contains a directory, but this directory has
only got read permission (r--r--r--), so I can't access it because there
is no execute permission.
I tried to modify fstab with "mode=555", owner, umask, etc... but nothing
changed, I only get a "permission denied" when trying to "cd" into the
directroy.

Is there any way to alter this disc's permissions so I can enter the
directory and read it's files?

Thanks!
