Re: tuxcards & shift+delete

So anyway, it was like, 17:40 CEST Apr 26 2007, you know? Oh, and, yeah,
Dances With Crows was all like, "Dude,

The only 'Doze apps I've seen use Shift-Del and Shift-Ins are
terminal emulators. Office, text editors, VC++, and various other
things all used Ctrl-[XCV].

Not that it really matters, but pretty much every application I
currently have on my windows desktop understand ctrl-insert for
'copy', shift-delete for 'cut' and shift-insert for 'paste'. This
includes all the things you mention.

One place it apparently doesn't work is in a cygwin xterm (on a bash
prompt), not that I expected it to. It does work in the ms windows
version of gvim, tho.

Thinking about it, I can't remember not being able to use those
keys in ms windows, but I have to admit not particularly wanting to
remember the bad old days of ms windows 3.1 and its predecessors.

I hope you're all taking notes, this will be on the quiz later.
