Is there a way to mount a Linux directory in VMware besides SAMBA? I have Win2K running under VMware Server on FC6. The original Win4Lin and Parallels both have a means of mapping Linux directories into Windows as Windows disks. Does VMware have a similar mechanism? I would prefer not to run SAMBA on my network.
In VMware Workstation you can share a directory between host and guest by configuring the "Shared Folders" option for each guest.
In a quick search I don't see a similar feature for VMware Server. But "Shared Folders" are what they call it in Workstation so searching for those keywords might turn up something for Server.
