Of course he has. Anyone who has valuable information has backups. Only
those who do not value their programs and data omit making backups.
OK, I'm gonna assume you're being sarcastic here... ;)
I think he's completely serious. Unfortunately, many people don't
appreciate the value of their data until they have to recover from just
such an incident. A valuable lesson learned, in any case.
