Booting from a fedora core live cd

I am trying to boot from a Fedora Core Live CD.

What do I type at the grub prompt to start the system? I tried the following:

grub> boot

Error 8: Kernel must be loaded before booting

grub> chainloader

Error 12: Invalid device requested

grub> install

Error 12: Invalid device requested

grub> help

This just brings up a list of cryptic options.

grub> kernel

Error 12: Invalid device requested
