Is there a way to mount a Linux directory in VMware besides SAMBA? I

not to run SAMBA on my network.
In VMware Workstation you can share a directory between host and guest
by configuring the "Shared Folders" option for each guest.
In a quick search I don't see a similar feature for VMware Server. But
"Shared Folders" are what they call it in Workstation so searching for
those keywords might turn up something for Server.
It looks like it's a Workstation only feature, maybe that's their way of
differentiating the free product from the paid for product.
